My life is rich with prosperity and plenty. I manage the bounty in my life with wisdom.
A lot of us have major hang-ups about money and prosperity. My grandmother was young during the Great Depression, and to her dying day I don't think she ever threw out a bread tie, a used envelope or a two-inch square scrap of fabric. I was a similar age during the recession in the '90s, and it made a similar impression on my view of the world as a place where there wasn't enough to go around.
Prosperity affirmations like the one above aren't magic wands that solve all your financial woes. Reciting them - even if you believe them to the core of your being - won't make money fall from the sky into your lap.
But they can have a place, as part of an overall plan involving working hard and working smart, offering something worthwhile and being able to convince people to buy it. If an affirmation can give you an extra confidence boost, that could be the help you need to ace a job interview, to continue refining a product or service when you feel like giving up, or to pluck up the courage to make that scary phone call or ask for a raise.
The best time for meditating on your prosperity is during the waxing moon, when it's increasing and growing large just like our bank balances should do. Anything that grows makes a nice symbol for prosperity - try acquiring a new plant or even planting a vege patch, care for it well and as it flourishes and grows visualise your wealth doing the same.
